I played through the Stranger Things 3 game and was excited to learn all the cute and fun things I could about Billy from the game. Spoilers if you never played.
Disclaimer: I will not address the weird shit with Karen
So, Billy is his usual Billy. Very possessive of the pool and is super stern about the “runts” not running around while they’re there.
He calls the kids runts and dweebs and freaks.
Billy likes soft pretzels. So much, in fact, that he won’t let Mike and Lucas back in the pool unless they bring him one. He also won’t give them the money for it.
Billy has a work friend named Chet who he is close to and they obviously care about one another (when you give Chet the laxative smoothie, Billy worries about him)
It’s implied that Billy and Chet chat shit about Steve’s work uniform behind his back.
Chet is not as mean as Billy. He’s pretty nice to Max and helpful even though he’s suspicious of the kid’s motives. He’s also stern about the kids being careful around the pool. (I like Chet obviously lol wish he was in the show)
Chet said Billy never goes in the employees only room. He enjoys the sauna after work. Or he used to until he started taking a lot of cold showers because he was flayed.
Billy works out like a maniac until his muscles are sore.
Billy loves denim and has a lot of it in his wardrobe.
In Billy’s memories, there is a flashback with Max and a different flashback of his parents where his father calls his mother a tramp and she’s very frightened by him.
The Mind Flayer speaks through Billy and says the last time Billy was happy was at the beach with his mother.
El tries to reach out to Billy and tell him to fight it but the mind flayer says there is no Billy.
Also—Max basically defended Billy and made excuses for him every time.
